The 'Coach with the Crazy Socks!'
Coach Jon Moss sticks out easy out of the crowd with his unique style of outlandish and creative socks. Known as the coach with the crazy socks, he has been coaching baseball for 8+ years from the recreation level to competitive AAA level with over 50+ wins and finished #1 in AAA in the state on Tennessee in 2016. Jon graduated from Rossville Christian Academy in 1999 where he played basketball, football, ran track and played baseball.
Jon teaches athletes to give 100% no matter what you do, instills core fundamentals, develops baseball IQ and works to enable players to reach their true playing potentials. Jon does a lot of team activities away from the game to build a strong bond between all the families, community service and other great things to teach the player to be a well-rounded athlete both on and off the field. The players know Coach Jon cares for them as his players and would leave it all on the field for each and every player.
Jon works for Intermodal Cartage for over 14 years as an Operations Manger and has 3 boys Aron, Ethan, and Noah ranging in age from 5 to 16.
Jody has been coaching youth sports for the past five years. This includes three years of Collierville Park & Recreation, and two years of competitive baseball for 9U Collierville Cyclones and 10U Collierville Dragons - Maroon. Jody graduated high school in 1996 from Ripley, MS and played both football and baseball. Jody graduated college in 2000 from Mississippi State University with a BS in Business Administration. Jody also spent four years as an umpire at Snowden Grove in Southaven from 2001-2005.
Jody’s passion includes teaching core baseball fundamentals and also growing each kids love for the game. Not only does he want the kids to become more skilled and knowledgeable baseball players, but he wants them to leave each game/practice ready to come back the following day and do it again! Jody is a firm believer in making things fun for the kids both on and off the baseball diamond.
Jody works for Hilton Worldwide as a Sr. Business Analyst. He is married to wife, Jennifer, and has four children, Madison, Reagan, Josie, and Riley.
